<p>F/T opportunity (90% inside/10% outside) in Hopewell Junction, NY (12533) for a forensic weather marketing associate responsible for executing daily marketing initiatives for our CompuWeather forensic weather division, with particular emphasis on identifying, qualifying, nurturing and developing relationships and opportunities within our target market (insurance professionals, attorneys and engineers) . <span id="more-344"></span></p>
<p>Working in tandem with our sales team, this position will lead initiatives to identify and develop new business opportunities, marketing channels, gather field intelligence and foster continued growth and expansion of our brand in furtherance of our goals. This B2B position requires strong relationship management, communication and conversational skills and most of all the ability to communicate concepts clearly and think and act strategically to achieve the required results.</p>
<p>This is not a sales or scripted telemarketing position, but rather a marketing role in which your successes will heavily rely on your ability to reach your target audience remotely using the phone, stimulate interest in our service by using a low-key, friendly, investigative and free-form conversational approach, and consistently identify both short-term and long-term opportunities for our sales team. To be successful in this role, you must be fast on your feet, be a great listener, have an exceptional dynamic personality, and be great on the phone.</p>
<p>For your hard work, dedication and positive results, this position provides a base salary plus an uncapped merit based/results oriented monthly bonus plan. <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Primarily over the phone (and sometimes in person at meetings, presentations or events) you will converse with leads, prospects and clients to:</li>
<ul>
<li>educate or expand their knowledge of our products and services</li>
<li>establish their needs and determine their relevance for using our service</li>
<li>qualify or disqualify leads</li>
<li>identify and provide qualified opportunities to our sales team</li>
<li>gain referrals for others that may be able to use our services</li>
<li>gather field, market and competitive intelligence relating to our industry</li>
<li>discover alternate marketing channels (organizations, events, conferences, web sites, etc.)</li>
</ul>
<li>Follow up with qualified leads on a regular basis</li>
<li>Prepare, provide and fulfill collateral materials to qualified leads</li>
<li>Assist in the development, planning and execution of company marketing initiatives, campaigns  and activities</li>
<li>Enter, edit and revise information and daily activities in SalesForce.com (our CRM software)</li>
<li>Provide backup and coverage for our sales team when needed</li>
<li>Travel to or attend outside meetings, events, conferences, etc. 10% of the time</li>
<li>Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by our Director of Sales and Marketing</li>
<li>Occasionally re-arrange work schedule to facilitate contacting international leads and clients</li>
<li>Prepare end-of-day and end-of-month activity reports</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p>
<p>Seeking candidates with 3+ years of experience in a B2B marketing position or non-scripted telemarketing role working with professional, consulting or solution services. Other requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Must communicate well on the phone and through email</li>
<li>Must possess exceptional interpersonal, communication and investigative skills</li>
<li>Must speak clearly and be easily understood on the phone</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills required</li>
<li>Clearly phrase and communicate concepts and thoughts</li>
<li>Must be dependable, flexible, friendly, outgoing and a team player</li>
<li>Advanced computer skills required : MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint</li>

<li>Assist with the development, production, assembly and fulfillment of collateral materials</li>
<li>Assist with bulk mailing and email campaigns and dispatches</li>
<li>Assemble and compile sales related reports, charts, graphs and spreadsheets</li>
<li>Assist with the development of PowerPoint presentations</li>
<li>Schedule appointments and provide inside support for traveling executives and staff</li>
<li>Assist with company events, meetings, seminars and trade shows</li>
<li>Assist with qualifying and disqualifying leads</li>
<li>Perform sales related research, inquiries and intelligence gathering</li>
<li>Proof-read sales and marketing documents</li>
