CompuWeather’s Forensic Case Hall of Fame Unveiled
After receiving hundreds of requests from CompuWeather’s clients, we are proud to unveil on September 21, 2009 the new CompuWeather Forensic Case Hall of Fame. Listed here are a selection of cases and claims that CompuWeather has worked on in which our services and findings impacted the outcome in a significant way. Many of these cases have unusual twists about them that have make for some interesting reading. CompuWeather used to publish these types of case studies in its weekly email newsletter, in the section titled “Case of the Week”. New CompuWeather.Com Web Site
The new compuweather.com web site went live July 27, 2009. Its stream line design makes it easy for clients and those new to CompuWeather to quickly determine if CompuWeather provides a service relevant for their site-specific past weather needs. The site is designed and targeted specifically for insurance professionals, legal professionals, engineers, maritime industry professionals and roofers which comprise the majority of CompuWeather’s Forensic Weather client base. The site also includes a full array of sample products and an improved web form for requesting service online. The new site may be reached at www.compuweather.com.
New FleetWeather Group Client Web Portal Released
The FleetWeather Group is comprised of 3 divisions that service a wide array of different types of clients. To streamline the delivery of information and documents to our clients, the FleetWeather Group has developed and released on July 17, 2009 a new client information web portal located at weatherlogin.com. Future plans include providing password managed secure web access to all of the FleetWeather Group’s clients so that they may easily and securely access relevant information and documents anytime and from any location. Clients may speak to their sales representatives to learn more about the specific web services they will have access to currently or in the near future.
New FleetWeather Ocean Services YachtWeather.Com Web Site
The new FleetWeather yachtweather.com web site went live on June 29, 2009. The continued growth of our yacht services business has generated the need to have a dedicated web site for our yacht clients and prospective clients. The new site is easy to navigate and provides current information on the specialized products and services our FleetWeather Ocean Services division provides for the global mega yacht and super yacht communities. Clients may easily request service from FleetWeather using our updated online web form. The new site may be reached at www.yachtweather.com.
FleetWeather hosted their 1st Annual ROCK’EM SOCK’EM Boxing Tournament
FleetWeather hosted their 1st Annual ROCK’EM SOCK’EM Boxing Tournament on Tuesday, March 24th in the lobby of the Stamford Hilton. Over 200 attendees from the CMA Shipping Expo attended the entertaining event and over 75 people took part in the 5-round rock’em sock’em boxing tournament. After 5-rounds of intense competition, Panos Panousis of Infospectrum was proclaimed as the Rock’em Sock’em Champ! Thank you all for attending and make sure to get in shape for next year’s event!
FleetWeather Ocean Services exhibits at CMA Shipping 2009
FleetWeather Ocean Services exhibited at the CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association) Shipping Expo 2009 in Stamford, CT at the Stamford Hilton on March 23-25, 2009.
New FleetWeather Group Corporate Web Site
The FleetWeather Group is proud to release its new fleetweathergroup.com web site on June 20, 2009. This new site was developed to act as the main corporate web site for the FleetWeather Group and to provide an overview of our divisions and the unique services they provide. The FleetWeather Group has been in business for over 40 years. This is the first time the FleetWeather Group has had a corporate web site. Easy access to all of the FleetWeather Group’s divisional web sites can be achieved from this main site. Current employment opportunities with the FleetWeather Group are also posted on the web site for prospective employees. The new site can be reached at www.fleetweathergroup.com.
